This course is for candidates wishing to achieve a nationally recognised instructor qualification.

On Successful completion of the course candidates shall be able to train operators to a nationally recognised standard.

Successful candidates shall be entered on the I.T.S.S.A.R register for a period of five years, after which will need to complete a re-registration course if they wish to still be included on the register.

Candidates wishing to attend must be in possesion of a certificate of basic training or refresher training dated within the last twelve months prior to the start of the course, on either a counter balance or reach truck.

DURATION: 10 days. LOCATION: Derby. COURSE DATES: Monthly.

Instructional techniques.
Practical demonstrations.
Practical lessons.
Basic skills testing.
Report writing.

All candidates attending the 10 day instructor course shall receive a comprehensive training package to enable them to conduct operator training courses, the package includes all test papers, training manuals and a complete power point presentation disc.

Also available are re-registration or direct entry courses from 3 to 5 days duration.
